Software Consultant Transport & Procurement



  • Play a leading role on Alpega´s cloud-based freight tendering solution, designed to optimize freight procurement across land, air and sea.
  • Analyze, plan and onboarding of new customers.
  • Train our existing customers on platform usage and features.
  • Build relationships with key employees among customers.
  • Create plans to address customers’ business needs.
  • Advise customers on creating profitable processes.
  • Act as single point of contact for our customers.
  • Actively support sales team sell services and products.
  • Ensure both the company and customers adhere to contract terms.
  • Study competition to find new ways to retain customers.
  • Close collaboration with internal teams (e.g. sales, engineers, senior management) to address customers’ needs.


  • Minimum 3 years of relevant freight industry or sales knowledge (having that within multiple transport modes – air, ocean, road, parcel – is an advantage).
  • Background in Customer Service.
  • Ability to work in project mode.
  • Fluent in French (near-native), with a professional English (written and spoken). Any other additional language skills (French, Spanish, German, etc.) are a plus.
  • Experience with SaaS solutions.
  • A good eye for data and what is reasonable in the freight market.
  • A customer-oriented attitude and excellent communication skills.
  • BSc/BA in Business Administration, Logistics or a related field.
