Contable (CDI)

Cogent Luxembourg is looking for talented individual to join their team as an Experienced Accountant. She/he will be responsible for keeping the books of certain subsidiaries and assist the team in various admin functions. She/he will need a technical accounting background and must have a strong aptitude for systems.

Essential Job Functions:

• Maintain accounting records: Execution of daily transactions for some of Cogent’s international operations based in Asia Pacific and the LATAM region
• Production of AP, AR and bank reconciliations ensuring GL is up-to-date, including taxes such as corporate taxes, VAT, withholding, GST returns are filed and reconciled
• Ensure booking of invoices and follow-up of payments providing supplier control reconciliation
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and Annual closings
• Extensive liaison internally and with local external accounting firms, reviewing and challenging their reporting to ensure local books and Group reporting reconciled
• Experience handling audit requests and ensure statutory accounts are filed in time, respecting local reporting deadlines
• Proven experience in accounting with a focus on international finance, local entities and vendors

Minimum Job Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you will:

• Have a Bachelor Degree in Accounting or a related field
• Minimum 3 years’ experience
• Good command of Excel
• Demonstrate initiative. Be service minded.
• Be fluent in English (mandatory) with Spanish being a plus
• Have experience with E.R.P (Navision preferably)
• Authorized to work in Luxembourg
