About the Role

Luxembourg is a relationship market. Deals happen through trust built over months, at ALFI events, over lunch, in the follow-up after a panel. But trust alone doesn’t build pipeline – structure does.

We already have active clients and a sales team operating in Luxembourg. You’re not joining a market exploration – you’re joining a motion that’s already in play, and your job is to accelerate it.

You’ll combine the local market credibility and network that takes years to earn with a GTM infrastructure that gives you AI-enriched account data, prioritized target lists, and playbook support from day one. The voice, the judgment, and the relationship intelligence are yours. The rest is already built.

Responsibilities

  • Map and prioritize target accounts: ManCos, UCITS and AIF fund managers, depositary banks, private banks, and insurance groups regulated by CSSF and CAA
  • Execute structured outbound across multiple channels – email, LinkedIn, cold calls, and in-person presence at key industry events (ALFI, LPEA, ILA, LuxFLAG, and others)
  • Build genuine relationships with Compliance, Risk, Legal, and Operations functions in target accounts – not just pipeline contacts
  • Generate qualified sales opportunities and hand off to the sales team with full context, in alignment with account planning strategy and expected sales cycle timing
  • Feed market intelligence back to the GTM team – in a tight market like Luxembourg, field insight is gold
  • Keep HubSpot rigorously updatedIt is your single source of truth and connection to the rest of the commercial team. This is not optional.
  • Work in close coordination with the GTM and Growth teams, who provide outreach infrastructure, sales enablement, and analytical support

Requirements

  • Based in Luxembourg with a genuine professional network in the local financial sector (funds industry, private banking, ManCos, service providers, or regulatory-adjacent roles)
  • 2-5 years of B2B experience in business development, relationship management, or sales in a financial sector context
  • Fluent English and French – both working languages of the LUX financial market, written and spoken at professional level
  • You understand how compliance obligations work for CSSF-regulated entities – not as a lawyer, but as someone who has spent time in or around this world
  • Autonomous and accountable: you own your pipeline, you don’t wait for a to-do list
  • HubSpot proficiency – or genuine honesty about your current level

Additional assets include

  • German (opens access to German-speaking funds, investors, and service providers)
  • Direct experience with SaaS or technology sales
  • Existing relationships with compliance officers, COOs, or legal counsel at Luxembourg financial institutions

What your first 90 days look like

  • Weeks 1-2: Market mapping, GTM system onboarding, first outreach sequences live with the LUX Sales team
  • Month 1: 4-5 qualified opportunities in HubSpot, first in-person event attended, network activation
  • Months 2-3: 10-15 qualified opportunities per month at full ramp, structured event pipeline, consistent handoffs to AEs
